Calypso-E34 Posted August 17, 2022 Share Posted August 17, 2022 I have a 2016 520d Sport, but this issue might be relevant on any BMW really. Occasionally when I start the car, I get a gong and display, suggesting that the car is overdue an inspection or an oil change by 400 odd miles, when no service is due for around 7000 miles. Next time I start up, everything will be back to normal. This happened now and then on my 2010 525d too. I have chosen to ignore it, but I am curious about what might be causing this.
