Andrew
Hello good to have you back A 530e will never achieve the claimed mpg or range, just so you know. You’d be better with a 530d. Proper engine and lez.
RatPC
Not worried too much about the mileage or range of the e vs the d. The main reason for the e over the d is work will fund my EV charging costs, and I can’t bring myself to go full EV. also in recent years my mileage has dropped through the floor and I could run it in EV mode for the 10 mile round trips I do a couple of times a week. Andrew
My work (tax payer funded!) don’t realise that they are paying for folk to charge their electric cars for free.

E39mad
Great car the G30/31. An improvement over the F10/11's. We had to rule out the 530e touring for two reasons: one the boot space is compromised because of the batteries and we need the space and two most of our journeys are long which means you do get the efficiency that you would from a diesel or benefit from the "commute" or shorter journeys. Try and get one with adaptive suspension and Comfort Seats for the best ride comfort. 530e's tend not to run on 20" rims but 18"s or 19"s which are acceptable with none run flat rubber if there is no adaptive suspension.
