Steve VH Posted June 19 Author Share Posted June 19 Aye Duncan they are aimed at fluid leaks, rather than coolent leaks, I know it won't last forever, but removing the rack on the E39 looks to be a right pita, having to raise the engine to gain clearance. Sorry i meant because our steering systems use ATF fluid rather than traditional PAS fluid is a "stop leak" product for PAS systems suitable - realise its not coolant we are talking about. I think ATF and PAS fluid have always been very similar, whether it is Dextron 3, or the latest fully synthetic, they both form a similar function, namely, lubrication, and creating hydraulic pressure to carry out a function, ie drive in a torque converter, and assistance with steering in PAS.
