E39 M5 clutch and flywheel options

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Next major thing for my M5 is the clutch.

Mine is fine BUT when you press the clutch there is a squeek from under the car and a whiring for a second or 2 as things slow if that makes sense.

I believe its on the original so after 24 years and 100k it's understandable.

What are people running?

I'd be looking at doing the flywheel and clutch together along with seals and linkage parts.  I'll also be installing the e60 550 manual shifter I think it is.

Car needs to be as close to stock as possible with no extra noises.

Cheers
