Do a search here, very common for failures of the rear suspension airbags, solenoid and/or compressor.

Plenty of BMW specialists in Glasgow if you search. Can only recommend BMW dealer Harry Fairbairn which is Arnold Clark now, in Giffnock (Southside of Glasgow) Do not and I repeat do not go to any branch of Douglas Park BMW. The saggy F11 backend is a common complaint and this forum has its fair share of victims of that complaint but also fixes. Can you hear the compressor run? Check its fuses and relay which can get water damaged and thus cut out and gravity takes over. It’s in the battery boot well.
duncan-uk
Have a look at relay in boot well, just had similar with car suddenly on its arse but i had no sign of compressor running, was the relay in the boot well - seems i have water ingress... Sgc22
The garage can’t find a fault, they are leaving it on the ramp over the weekend
duncan-uk
Have a look in well under boot floor - see if relay is damp.
0011718
This happened to mine once and never did get to the nottom of it. However I did wonder if it was because I had been out to the car to move it a small distance, and if the compressor was working to raise the rear suspension because it had dropped overnight AND I then switched the car off while the compressor was still woking would this leave a valve open causing it then to slowly drop? Sgc22
So it’s both real level sensor link rods which have seized. there has been water in the boot previously but it’s dry and the Relay is fine and the compressor is also good. cost is £193 plus initial diagnostic cost. It's a bit pesky in that department. Make sure it stays out. But thanks for coming back on to share the solution. @VPCAPTAIN, worth checking on your F11.

I’m wondering if I have a similar problem. Replaced the compressor not just the solenoids and some times the car stays up for days and others it drops. It’s the same both sides and doesn’t seem like an airbag leak. Is replacement of these parts a diy job - they’re cheap to buy?

I have no mechanical skills whatsoever so no idea if it’s diy but the parts weren’t expensive
Sgc22
And it’s gone again on the way home from work, suspension both sides with warning on dash saying chassis, safe to continue, so I’ve limped it home. This car is cursed
