Me? No.

If I was buying for the first time I'd bid on it. However, I'm so deep into mine that it owes me multiple times what it's worth. Plus, when mine is all resolved it'll be a better car. Few more options and with bespoke interior, new engine/gearbox, refreshed suspension etc.

I bid on this Alpina last year and it came down to a battle between me and the final winner.

The same car has just been sold again, just over a year later. First, they tried on Collecting Cars but it didn't hit the reserve price. Then it was on Autotrader advertised at £21,495 in Gloucestershire near me.

The recent owner spent some money on it and added some miles but it's a bit suspicious to sell it on so soon. I would say I dodged a bullet, but then the 535i I bought instead shot me anyway!

Not really, there's a dual mass flywheel to dampen the clutch.

The 7th and 8th gears on the auto are both longer than the manual and 1-3 are shorter. Therefore, the auto is more optimal but I like being able to control the gears. I had a C63 Estate for 5 years, which was my first auto after a series of manual BMWs. It's nice to be back.

I also noticed ''Pictures of previous damage are available to view" hidden in the description and it's declared as Cat N.

I didn’t get that far, once I saw the black wheels, I knew enough to avoid. 🤪

A very well specced 535i Touring sold on Collecting Cars twice, first time in Jan 22 and now again 2 years later.

After 22,200 miles it only dropped £4,000 in 2 years. Another £1,605 strictly speaking for the fee the current owner had to pay to buy it, but still that's good for depreciation in the current climate.

This one on Autotrader was first advertised rather optimistically for £27,000 and now desperate for a sale at £18,600!

Aah ok.

im sure I’ve seen a white jap import recently. Tend to be high spec with history checks blank in adverts. Maybe that’s being sold by first registered owner since import and either does know or think to mention?
