Sten
The replacement exhaust Cat started rattling, it's only lasted 18 months. Found a replacement Cat only on Evilbay for a whole £32, cut the old one out and welded new one in. Let's see if this one lasts any longer. System tack welded to bench to keep everything in line. Then new Cat welded in. Now just need to refit it.

Keliuss
My cheap cats only lasted weeks before I heard the tell-tale rattle of the loose substrate. They were from BM cats. Ended up at an exhaust specialist and he said they are pure muck. I got him to weld in a flanged straight pipe and I save the better Walker cat for test day only. He also said my aftermarket lambda sensor didn't help out the cheap cats, in that, while the sensor worked, it reacted too slow to changes in the gas mix. He recommended I splash out on an OEM sensor - it wasn't cheap, at £250 ish - (Mine's the Siemens ECU, apparently the Bosch is a lot cheaper).
