92touring525 Posted March 28, 2023 Share Posted March 28, 2023 For a while now, if I use the car, I sometimes get a crackling noise under the dash, ignition on or off. I thought it was the speaker, but disconnecting the radio had no effect. Could it be a warning noise unit, I have no idea? The driver door latch switch for the interior light doesn't work. Although the tailgate wiring is intact since I last rewired it, I get a licence plate light warning and I have the rear wiper fuse removed as sometimes the wiper has a mind of its own. But there is no obvious short circuitry. What do I have to do to fix this crackling noise? It must have happened to someone else?! I always park the car with the battery disconnected as a precaution.
