Syncrofred
Out and about this morning, all normal. Signalled to turn into our drive and nothing on the dash and no 'click' noise. Checked when parked and the outside indicators are flashing, but nothing inside the car to tell me that they are working. Any Ideas?
Syncrofred
Thanks for the overwhelming response to my problem. A couple of hours later the indicators were normal again when I went out. I stopped and tried to open the tailgate. It's a powered one. The lock unlatched, but the pump didn't turn on, so the tailgate didn't lift and I had to do it manually and hold it open. Then when I closed it again it didn't latch. I drove home and found the central locking didn't work! I went and had lunch. Later I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and everything returned to normal, save for the indicators. The following day they had magically repaired themselves. Since then no problems. Weird or what. I'm thinking Body Control Module, but it's only a guess and I don't know where it lives anyway. My son (Flandy on here) used his diagnostic tool, but it didn't show anything that looked relevant.
dj123
This is general discussion, rather than the technical area for your car for these queries to be placed.

It would need something like INPA. The other thing that occurs to me if it isn't a module is the tailgate wiring. A known problem. Failing wires can be intermittent at first. Flandy
I think it was just suffering from electrical indigestion, because having burped it, it seems to be fine now.
Syncrofred
Behaved perfectly for a couple of days, then the faults returned. If it is one of these 'modules', where will find them? Presumably they have a part number on them.
Syncrofred
Today they have repaired themselves again. Several fault codes logged that refer to K-Bus problems, but still a bit confusing.
