duncan-uk Posted November 29, 2022 Share Posted November 29, 2022 If your switch pack for roof, heated seats, ASC etc fails then you can rebuild it with the inards of an e46 switch pack. Just the buttons and fascia thats different but switching and plugs the same. Second if the NAV screen fails you can use the Nav screen from an E87 though you need to swap the control board over as the Z4 opens through a differnt arc, if you swap inards wholesale it only opens 90º and not 110º Both options far cheaper than sourcing Z4 parts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Behind the fascia and buttons the PCB and plugs are the same, note the housing differs in that the z4 has mounting lugs so you swap buttons, housing and fascia over.
