Got new windshield installed yesterday, as about a month ago my old original windshield lost fight against a pothole and cracked😑 nice and fresh now😇

I always used castrol edge 5w30 LL or 5w30 M on mine, both LL04, always ran perfect👏 I’ve heard 5w40 is better for higher mileage cars, still yet to try that as I’ve still got alot of 5w30😀

Yea it is fine but not great, my 2006 vw had much better brakes, the pedal is way too soft and need to press it almost half way to start braking, I might try the ABS pump method but I need to activate it somehow 🥲

Replaced gearbox mount today, nothing was wrong with the old one, just minor cracking, I’m just on a mission to replace old rubber mounts/bushings this year since I replaced engine mounts late last year😊 also bled brakes as they felt quite “spongy”, unfortunately they still feel almost the same😐 I might try and swap brake lines for braided ones, anyone done that before? Any difference?

I did my fuel pump 4 years ago, it was quite easy to slightly twist that locking disk with a big screwdriver and a hammer, just hit it on those grooves on the edge👏 try that and good luck!

Deep cleaned my wheel arches today as winter seems to be gone finally 🤭 Also finally replaced the coolant flange after loosing 1L of coolant every day for the last 2 weeks, no wonder why… original flange gave up on life haha, also while inlet manifold had to come off, decided to give it a good clean, wasn’t too bad as I did already cleaned it 2 years ago☺️

Mine seems okay, the light is still visible quite clearly, I’ll see how good is it in bright sunny day (hope to see that soon haha)

I work in a well known car auction, so we don’t take part ex or so, yep I do agree with this guy in the video👍 In last year or two EV’s started dropping in value like crazy, so if you’re not rich enough to no to care about your cars value after couple years of owning it, avoid it. It seems like only tesla’s and high end EV’s are more affected. Unfortunately we see similar situation with M cars from between 2014 to 2020 being much cheaper then lets say a year ago🥲

Also, as I do work in motor trade business I came across this very unusual bmw key, has anyone else seen these before? It’s an oem key, has bmw stamping inside🧐 sorry if this is off-topic

Yes they are plastic copies of aliexpress, but they still got that soft touch coat on them, so they don’t feel cheap😊 I am surprised myself how long I lived with those horrible handles 😀 I just kept saying “I’ll do it next year” for last 4 years haha Today done the ‘famous’ cracked parking brake button replacement, looks so much better now☺️

Finally forced myself to replace both front door handles after many years of thinking to do it, had enough of sticky handles 🤭 took me just over an hour to do☺️ last photo🤢
