  1. That's probably an E60 chassis so asking on the E60/1 page may produce some different ideas. But I agree that reading codes is your best start.
  2. I enjoy those features you mention on my G32 too and wouldn't be without them and I have the lane keep assist but never use it, I don't like that it places the car in the middle of the lane, and it does fight me when on a motorway and there is an offramp that I don't want to take. I'm 6 years into ownership of my 7-year-old car and have never had an extended warranty. Outside the original manufacturer 3-year warranty, I've replaced my offside outer taillight as the indicator LED failed and I've replaced the Vanos actuators on the B58 engine due to a slight hesitation or "bucking" when the engine was under a slight constant load. Nothing else (touch wood)!
  3. We spend at least one holiday a year in France, just love it too whether skiing or summer!
  4. Thanks, Chambord a little too far from Chinon, and we only have 1 day left 🥲. Maybe next time.
  5. Summer hols in France, staying in Chinon and went to visit this Chateau in Rigny-Usse. First time in the Loire Valley and it is stunning. We brought the bicycles and there are plenty of very beautifully laid out cycle routes to explore.
  6. You can use Realoem.com to check parts. I've take a look for you and the Pre (N47) and Post LCI (B47) use the same radiator and radiator carrier.
  7. Interesting, I thought the N57 became euro6 compliant with the 2012 update. What is your car’s build date?
  8. Andy’s is a U.K. RHD F11 so I assume he’ll be selling in the U.K., zero market for it in Germany I’d think.
  9. I reckon you’ll be able to sell the F11. It is Euro6 so very usable in major cities still and people are still buying diesels, even new, so your 2014 may well just find another home. I hope it does as it would be a shame to be a scrapper.
  10. You will have European maps no matter which version (business or professional) of the BMW satnav you have, it should be a case of just changing the country before searching for the street/postcode.
  11. This is your best option to go through the same route as the side view cameras would have done which, on RHD cars, is as I mention, through the large clump of wires routed next to the blower housing.
  12. To get the camera data cable through to the cabin, remove the blower motor and its housing and you can then get the cable through the existing large wiring harness grommet into the near side passenger footwell. I’ve done this a couple of times on the F10/11 when replacing the side view camera and cable.
  13. Did you originally buy the bolts and supply them with the arms to the garage, or just the arms? The answer is yes, all the bolts on the arms are of the stretch variety so the torque settings will have a specific xxNm setting plus an additional angle. It is this additional angle that stretches the bolts so they should never be used twice.
  14. I know I've been banished to the dark side being the 6 series forum pages, but for those who don't meander over there to see what's going on (tumbleweed most often), here is a link to my write up on changing the rear propshaft flex disc or guibo. As the 6GT rear drivetrain is shared with G30/31/11/12 vehicles, this is relevant to you too.
