  1. Thanks for all the replies. Have done 500 miles this week and starting to think I might I be getting used to it now and it’s not a problem? Still want to get the tracking done!
  2. Thanks for this! Interesting as I drove the car today, and noticed exactly what you say on a straight motorway need to constantly correct the wheel! I’ve never noticed it on a car before, and my other car a 68plate Octavia, it defo isn’t anything like this. I suppose it’s just getting BMW to understand / agree there is something wrong…
  3. Just rolling down the motorway on cruise control, defo not when braking!
  4. Not this time, just not not been is this car before! 🙂
  5. I pumped the tyres up today, to see if that makes any difference, as above both on the passenger side were 3psi lower than they should be and the drivers side 1/2 psi! From reading online, with Runflats the tiniest adjustment makes a fair amount of difference. Driving back from Heathrow yesterday I did notice there is an ever so slight vibration I can feel through the wheel, not enough to make the wheel shake when I’m not holding it, but it doesn’t feel like it should be there. I am wondering if it’s a bad thing the car has different tyres each side on the rear drive axle?! I hate getting a new car, always hard to know if something I don’t think is ‘normal’!!
  6. Thanks Daren, some interesting things to think about there. Most years I drive over to the Nurburgring, so never worry about filling up on route as we can do door to door on a tank, and there are plenty of filling stations around the Mullenback / Adenauer areas! I might try Google Maps, the only reason I actually use Waze is because people report police, but I don’t exactly speed around so not sure why I think about it! I’ve previously found Apple Maps to be the best around the French Alps, Waze didn’t have a clue!! Speed wise, I’ve noticed this too! I’ve worked out this weekend how to change my heads up display into KPH, so this will be a great help I’ve never had before!
  7. I purchased a RAM iPad Mini mount the other day for my upcoming trip to Germany, I want to be able to run Waze alongside the car sat nav as I find it a bit clearer on turns, and my phone screen is too small to do this (Used to CarPlay from previous cars). Struggled to decide on a convenient place to mount that wouldn't block my view, I think to the left of the screen is currently the winner, unless I purchase the longer arm - it's currently on the 3inch arm.
  8. Thanks Andrew. I'm back now, and I had a quick look, the pressures are slightly lower on nearside for some reason, and about 1psi lower than they should be all around. Will pump them up tomorrow and see if that makes any difference. I only realised today the car has runflats fitted, which I've never had before so that may be altering my experience too based on others comments accross the internet. Steven
  9. This is interesting, as per the thread I posted last night in this forum. I haven't had my car checked yet, as it appears to go straight if I let go of the wheel, as I would expect. The rear adjustments on my old L322 had seized completely, and took an afternoon with an electric saw and lots of swearing to get them replaced so the tracking could be done properly 😂
  10. So as some of you may know, almost a month ago I picked up a new to me 2017 F11 530D M Sport... it was an approved used car purchase from BMW. I've previously had a G31 520d and a G05 X5, and more recently just come from a M235i. \ I feel a little disheartened when driving the 530d, that I feel as though it sometimes 'tramlines' or just steers where it wants to, something I've only ever felt on my old L322 that has 22inch wheels when I got it, solved when moving down to standard 19s! I'm currently in Amsterdam and not with the car, so can't confirm the tyres are the same both sides but when at the airport this morning I did see the tyre on the drivers side was a Falken Azenis FK520, looks like a non run flat but I've never had Falken tyres before. The wheels are 19inch 351M alloys. My question is... is this something I should raise with BMW under the warranty, and something they are likely to be able to fix or should I be splashing out for new tyres etc (even though they have plenty of tread) Never really had an issue like this before so not sure what to do, all advice / experiences welcome.. I did see the Duncan thread changing the PAS stuff but lost the thread before I got to the end!
  11. Is the headlight a common issue on these? A bloke down the road from me has a F11, and I noticed his n/s headlight is often condensated!
  12. I used Auto Finesse interior cleaner, and the interior brush! I'm going to buy the leather cleaning kit to do the seats this week, so hopefully a pass over on the steering wheel with that will help even more!
  13. Updated the maps today, I'm doing my first big journey tomorrow and I had a look and the maps haven't been updated since 2016! Purchased the 2024 version and FSC code off eBay, and all running up to date now! Also gave the steering wheel a good clean, looks less shiny now and more plush like a leather steering wheel should! A quick pass over the front seat cusion a lot of dirt came out the leather so think I'm going to have to give it an interior detail one weekend soon!
